1. What is the discount / how can members use it?
a. Members are eligible for up to 75% off on over 96,000 products in all Office Depot/Office
Max locations or online, including reduced copy and print pricing. The average discount off
of retail price is 30%.
b. Members can use the discount in stores by showing the SPC # on their Store Purchasing
Card. This applies all discounts (which vary) at the register at time of sale and is reflected
on the receipt. Members can also shop online at the cobranded site which has all of the
discounts embedded.
c. If members do not have a Store Purchasing Card they can print one online by going to
their organization’s website and have it laminated for free in-stores.
2. Is my SPC card active? How do I activate my card?
a. Yes, your SPC card can be used in any Office Depot or OfficeMax store.
3. How does this card work? What is the number on the card?
a. The card is able to be used in the store. The customer just needs to hand the card to the
Office Depot/Max associate and the discount will be taken off at the register.
i. All directions for applying the member discount are listed for the cashier on the
back of the Store Purchasing Card.
4. Why am I getting the SPC card in the mail?
a. The card is being mailed to you because your organization has negotiated special
exclusive pricing for members that the general public cannot access. The organization has
given permission to their partner to send this card so that members can have easy access
to the savings.
5. How do I stop getting emails / why am I getting them?
a. You can just click on the "unsubscribe" on the bottom of the email and the emails will
stop coming.
b. You are receiving the email because you may have:
i. Given your email information upon check out in the store
ii. Made an online order
6. How do I get these discounts for my business?
a. Businesses can use the SPC cards for in-store purchases. Applicable discounts will be applied upon checkout.
b. Businesses can register to shop online with discounts automatically applied.
c. If you would like to set up a business billing account, simply call Office Depot Business
Account Manager at 855-337-6811 X 12897.
7. I am an existing Office Depot customer registered with an online account, how do I apply
these discounts?
a. In order to take advantage of your association/group’s discounts, you must create a new
. account at your association/group’s Office Depot website.
